To Update your Ledgers
1. Select the invoices or credit notes you wish to update the ledgers with from the Invoicing window list box.
If no records are selected all unposted invoices/credit notes will be updated.
2. Click Update.
The Update Ledgers window appears.
3. Select the type of output you require for your report from the option buttons available.
4. To update your ledgers and print, preview or save your Update Ledgers Report, click OK.
If you selected to print the report, the Windows Print window appears. Use this to select which pages to print and change your printer settings if required.
If you selected to preview the report, the Preview window appears showing the first page of the report in the batch. If you are satisfied with the report, you can send it directly to the printer by choosing the Print option from the File menu.
If you selected to print the report to a file, the File Save As window appears. Select a directory in which to store the file and enter the filename in the File Name box. You can also select the type of file you wish to create. Using the æSave File as TypeÆ drop-down list box, select either Sage Line 50 Report Data format (.SRD), Text file format (.TXT) or Comma Separated Value (CSV).
